Is that it will feel different. I am still trying to keep faith that the person they choose to direct Catching Fire will do it right, but I hate that the feeling will be different. Like with the Harry Potter movies. A new director brought a new version of it, and even if it was still good, it didn’t feel like the previous movie. Some felt darker than others while some felt more magical. I guess I was just hoping that when I was able to watch the Hunger Games and Catching Fire back to back, it wouldn’t feel like anything had changed.
So I was looking through pictures of the HG cast at the KCAs when I noticed a building in the background. That building….is an apartment building across the street from USC…called University Gateway..that I LIVED IN…for a year. I walked past the Felix car lot everyday. Took the F Dash bus, which stopped right across the street from there…everyday. Walked on that sidewalk they are on to go to Chipotle all the time. And now they are there and I am not.
I’m going to go curl up in a ball and cry now.
Kristen Stewart wins best actress.
Diary of a Whimpy Kid beats Harry Potter AND The Hunger Games
Alvin and the Chipmunks beats Harry Potter
I’m SO SICK of people saying Justin Bieber, Harry Styles, etc should play Finnick
I have no problem with the people cheering for Armie Hammer, Joey Graceffa, or Alex Pettyfer. Even if they aren’t my pick, I don’t have a problem with them. I just hope whoever is chosen, the fandom welcomes them and keeps a positive attitude, because we should all realize by now that the casting directors will pick the person who can embody the whole character.
